Overview
ASNAF is the Federation of ASEAN Accounting Firms, an alliance of full
service mid-size independent accounting firms in various countries across
the ASEAN region and throughout Asia including Australasia.
There are two categories of membership - members and correspondents. Members
are further classified into ordinary members and associate members.
The Governing Council comprises founding members. Ordinary members may
be invited to join the Council. Representation in ASNAF shall be limited
by Country, that is, the number of the member firms per country shall be
decided upon the Council taking into consideration the demographics of
each country provided that there should be no more than five (5) member
firms for each country.

Correspondents
Correspondents may be admitted at any time provided
they comply with the criteria as prescribed and are nominated by
at least two Members or three Correspondents and approved by a majority
vote of the Founding Members.
These correspondents are licensed independent accounting firms, which are of a certain standard in their own countries and need their clients to be serviced well in Asia and Australasia. Here ASNAF will have a strategic alliance agreement to ensure that their clients are serviced at "International standards with Asian touch".
New members and correspondents are welcome as this arrangement
is mutually beneficial especially as a reliable and convenient "defensive
referral" network.
